The government Monday ordered massive reshuffle in the civil administration by ordering transfers and postings of senior officers.
According to an order by General Administration Department (GAD), Asgar Hassan Samoon, Principal Secretary to the Government, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department, would also hold the charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Transport department, in addition to his own duties, relieving Saugat Biswas, Transport Commissioner, J&K of the additional charge of the post.
Shahid Anayatullah, Commissioner Secretary to the Government, Revenue department, would also hold the charge of the post of Financial Commissioner, Revenue, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Farooq Ahmad Lone, Chief Executive Officer, Economic Reconstruction Agency, J&K, holding additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, SPV, Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare department.
Syed Abid Rashid Shah, Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, would also hold the charge of the post of CEO, Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for Srinagar City for implementation of the Smart City Project, under the Smart City Mission.
